I joined Bhadrak College and Bishnu was there. So also many others.
During Rakhee Purnima a few would come with Rakhee to spread a new bondage for ABVP. That was their way.
Chhatra Congress, Chhatra Janata, SFI and AISF had their own groups too and as a college teacher I was with all of them. Interestingly ABVP had a good sway and they all were winning hands down.
A few would address me as Bhai instead of Sir.
Bishnu would love to call me Jita Bhai. He was 8 years younger to me.
What were his qualities?
Offensively straight forward, bitingly frank and very strong in views.
Strangely he had a nice flair for literature and that infact made me know him a bit more closely.
He was MLA and Deputy Chief Whip. Was faring quite well.
Never knew that he would leave the world so soon.
Could not give him anything he really deserved. He left in Sept. 2022.
Today the 5th of June is his birthday. His memory benefits me.
I wish him the very best where ever he might be.
